The Joseph School District is a public K-12 charter school located in Joseph, Oregon, serving rural Wallowa County, know for its small student body, individualized learning, and community-focused environment with activities and programs in athletics, arts, and academics. As a charter school, it offers flexibility in its curriculum and operations, focusing on strong student engagement and outcomes through innovative teaching, supported by community involvement and accountability, providing a public education alternative within its district. 

Our mission is to increase student achievement by expanding learning opportunities, building stronger partnerships among educators, parents, and community partners and encouraging the use of diverse and innovative learning methods and techniques. Academic excellence will be realized through individual student programs that will be supported by the principles of multiple intelligence, service learning, arts appreciation, and vocational readiness.
